Horse Training Seminars and Clinics
Janet Burleson, acknowledged as one of the world's pioneering horse trainers, provides a variety of free horse training classes, seminars and clinics. Whenever feasible, a working Guide Horse team can attend these free seminars, share their experiences and demonstrate a Guide Horse in-action. This presentation has been very popular with State and federally funded blind service organizations as well as Civic associations such as the Lions Club. When feasible, a working Guide Horse team will attend and guide dog users will be given an opportunity to try a Juno walk with a fully-trained Guide Horse.
To request a free seminar for your blind school, organization or civic association, just send an e-mail to: info@guidehorse.com Click the links for different guide horse seminars:
We receive thousands of appearance requests each year
and it is impossible to accommodate every request for a horse training
seminar. If your schedule is flexible, we can place your organization on
a wait list and perform your Guide Horse seminar when we are in your
area.
